Was it really? I had no idea. I think I probably watched it years later with an ex. Somehow the movie is good enough to keep me from thinking about her when I think about it until just now when I remembered.
What Dreams May Come was an excellent film. Just going off “box office status” is a pretty bogus way to judge someone’s acting. Might as well tell me how great Megan Fox and Kirsten Dunst are as “actresses”… lol.
Unless Robin Williams was the only actor in the film AND he wrote and produced it, the film’s entire success cannot be placed on him. Coattails exist, but so do sinking ships and cult classics.
That Williams has so many good/great movies is a testament to how great an actor he is. Remember Sturgeon’s Law – 90% of everything is crap. That goes for movies as well. Your average “star” has a few roles that put them in the spotlight, and a great quantity of crap fans make excuses for.
This all makes sense
But what’s wrong with “What Dreams May Come?” This was an excellent movie with wonderful vivid imagery. I loved this.
Well for one it was a complete boxoffice bust.

I liked it as well. It really was a beautiful film, the concept was good and the acting was decent.

cuba gooding was a total fag

I have several times. One of my fave books; I liked Purgatorio also, not so much Paradiso. Nonetheless, I liked the film.
Where in the hell is “The World According to Garp”?
this
also, what about Everyone’s Hero (a little baseball cartoon that’s jakedog approved) where he played the fat little owner of the cubs?
i also thought Death to Smootchy was pretty awesome

What I really like are his older stand-up work. His interview w/ Dick Cavett was hysterical. He is one of the best there is at improv.
Wow. Someone put a lot of time and effort into that graphic. But what’s really sad is the fact that all they ended up with was a pile of fail.
Is this viral marketing for “Worlds Greatest Dad” ??
Dude. Death to Smoochy is fucking awesome. Also, I enjoyed Man of the Year.
Death To Smoochy has jon stewert in it. FTW.
I see no Big White, this was a waste of time.
World’s Greatest Dad is not quite a comedy. Quite morbid..FAIL
