Also true. Maybe some teeny-bopper girls liked Buffy or something, which was a pretty decent show, but not in the kind of numbers seen today with Twilight.
I have no idea if Tyger42 is a douche or not, as I haven’t really *hung out* at M[c]S for a looooong time, but what he’s saying is right on.
True Blood is also a good program, but he never mentioned anything that said it wasn’t. You’re too defensive.

The best thing about the show is the theme song.
It is watchable television, but “awesome” is an overstatement.
Granted, awesome is an opinion-based concept, but since i’m hungover, I’ll just say this: You *think* True Blood is awesome. *I* think it is only marginally better, in concept, than Twilight, and that it has a number of glaring *objective* weak spots that cripple it from reaching even the foothills of Mt. Awesome. I can produce these reasons/weak spots on demand, if you feel like have an actual, legitimate point/counter point.
That would, however, prove the second half of your post wrong.
