The only reason capes or half cloaks or even full cloaks are not “socially acceptable” is because they aren’t the norm; therefore the only people who would sneer or frown at someone wearing one, these days, are douchebots and conformists- and who the fuck cares what they think? Wear a motherfuckin cape and every person out there who’s opinion is actually worth a shred, will see and say or think to themself; “Awesome.”
I agree with sylvanish. I dunno where you live, but it sounds like the people there are dicks, and that’s sad. My advice is to move somewhere where people are more tolerant of awesomeness.

Nope! And I’m proud of that.
Fuck the religion… in fact… fuck all religion… but I can go for a sharp suit.

I dunno where you live, but in my neck of the woods, capes are for Halloween.

You mistake was referring to your home as “the woods”. Nobody cares what people in forests think.
Seinfled Quote from season 6: George after Jerry tells him he saw his father in the city with some man in a cape. Too funny!
“What was a man in a cape doing with my father? What was my father doing with a man in a cape? Why a cape?â€
