usually like brownish … the pale points to undercooked crust, which usually means mushy, or overly chewy pizza. i take my pizza very seriously….it must be a NewYorker thing.
Looks tasty! And not greasy. Which makes or better pizza.
I prefer traditional (thin crust) Italian Pizza. So far “California Pizza Kitchen” makes it the best. I really need to go to Italy and have me a slice of Margherita Pizza.
I should take a picture of my local favorite pizza joint “Pizza My Heart” for comparison.
There used to be a pizzeria on Staten Island that served great thin crust pizza, but his Sicilian pie was orgasm good. Too bad the old man died and the sons sold the business. *drooling*
I think the name of the was Vinny’s, but not sure. He was on Richmond Ave in Eltingville town; this would in the 1980s. Hubby and I are gonna be up there this week, maybe meet for pizza? There a New Yorker transplant here in West Virginia that makes good pizza, but it’s just not the same. He says it’s the water, lol.
why is the crust so pale? is that what is called a pizza in denver?
what color is your crust? red? blue?
