Just got me Street Fighter IV for the PC and awesome feelings are being had.

I want the original arcade stand up that only had the joystick and the two big buttons. 1 for punch 1 for kick, just depended on how hard or fast you could hit them.
I’ve no doubt a few still exist out there, but the main reason they were replaced by the traditional 6-button layout was that the pads often broke due to excessive/improper use.
And with game mechanics as bad as the ones in SFI, I don’t think I envy the old schoolers who tested the punching pads.
