I’ve heard recently that he is credited with giving L.Ron Hubbard some of the ideas for the structure of Scientology.
To be fair, Heinlein is the unsung visionary for the human issues in science fiction.
I’m not going to knock anybody for liking him or call him a bad writer, but his ideologies soured his works for me.
