Wow, thanks Hollywood. Just what I wanted, some crappy live action movie of some crappy kids’ Japanimation-knockoff series. Thanks for this blight on our culture.
so, elaborate? how was the show stupid compared to other child-geared shows? I thought the writing was clever, non-condescending and followed a fairly fresh set of themes and ideas.
I can’t speak for the film, but I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with it.
Ironically, it took the US to show Japan how to make a martial arts anime series that wasn’t totally fucking retarded, badly written, meandering, and ultimately pointless.

Fagatar the Last Shitbender.

Yeah, the cartoon is award-winning in terms of excellence. You’re kind of an idiot.
I agree, I actually liked this series and it had an epic ending
M. Night Shyamalan directing pretty much guarantees a giant pile a of steamy horseshit being splattered against your cineplex’s screen.
The cartoon actually is pretty good.
The show was great amazing ending and all. Just a little worried M.Night”what a twist!!” shamamamala is directing the movie.
I never watched the show, but when I saw the preview I said to my friend, “what will be the twist, total ass rape of the IP?”
the trailer actually didn’t look too bad. I will give it a chance.
EPIC FAIL. *facepalm*
… unless there appears the kiddy party-crasher alien from “Signs” 😀
In the end it turns out that he’s a ghost and no one can see him but the kid.
