    I agree!. I certainly wouldn’t consider anyone from Pennsylvania to be “normal” like Minnesota Normal.

    Obama took Ohio, but it’s too bad we elected Boehner as well because it *does* make us look like right-wingers. Ohio’s actually a pretty good mix. But that’s because we’re the most normal state in the Union.

    On the whole, though, I do see the US this way. I won’t deny it. I’m glad for the left-wing loonies balancing out the right-wing loonies who need to change the channel from FOX News now and then, I hope the Eskimoes need to keep supplying us with ice, and I think the Hula girls have nice coconuts.

    I have always disliked the term Midwestern. It really doesn’t mean much. Not a cohesive block in terms of voting patterns, fashion, personal or moral beliefs. Nothing really. It’s more of a “doesn’t fall into any other category” description than anything else.
