I was trying to win tix for NIN/JA (NIN and Jane’s Addiction) from DC101 (Local rock station). I don’t know why I try to win tix rather than just buy them, but I always do it. The only reason I signed up to Twitter was to try to win concert tix.
I went to NIN/JA in chula. Half because I wanted to take my girlfriend on a short vacation for her birthday, and half because the Phoenix show was only listed on the NIN/JA website and a local radio stations website, and I bought off of ticketmaster.
It was insane, however I saw footage of the Phoenix show and I think it was more intense, it seemed that he was tired from the phoenix show the night before in chula, and the chula crowd was a little less bouncing off the walls with him, I was really the only one screaming the lyrics.
You should have hung around. I only saw Jane’s Addiction. For some reason when they toured through Columbus, OH, NIN was off doing something else. I had very low expectations, I like JA’s music but I’m not a big fan of their egos… but I was very pleasantly surprised. It was a great show. Perry Farrell proved to be an excellent front man. They even did an acoustic version of Jane Says.
I was at NIN/JA in denver. It’s a crime NIN played before Jane’s. But then again it got kinda cold after NIN played so my friends and I went and got a pizza lol
I just saw them last night at Roskilde Festival. Fucking epic dudes, they ripped us apart. Glowing reviews everywhere and definitely the best show of the festival so far!

Anyway, we left before Janes went on.

Fucker!
A guy I met while waiting for a table at a restaurant offered to sell me 4 tickets to a sold out show in Toronto and I said no.
I am teh lame.
I seem to have a ‘thing’ about actually paying for tix. It’s not the money. I guess I just like the idea of ‘lucking into’ them.
You realize there’s no language filter to dodge here, right Clip? :p “Ass” isn’t even filtered on most forums that have ’em anymore, anyway.
Seriously?! Who cares, oh you do!
I saw them a few years ago in Portland Oregon, Queens of the Stone Age opened for them. Awesome.
