I wanted to like this show, I really did. I wanted to like it because it’s filmed here in New Mexico, and it would ordinarily be just the kind of show I like. Unfortunately, I could never get through a full episode. I just lost interest.
@...Lamb:
Do you mean in quality, or in trying to decipher the plot?
There is the one thing that bothers me about TSCC and Terminator in general, and that is how convoluted it gets because of time travel. Several of the charachters in the show are from an alternate future, because the Connor Crew ‘changed things.’ It gets hard to wrap my head around the possibility of alternate futures. I’m a single string kind of guy, but I understand the theory. I also think its retarded.
On the other hand, I like robots that kill people. So that’s a plus.
@...nyokki: Yeah the dvr “ratings” were high for dollhouse and the execs were betting in jos to make the second season do better. It will be 13 eps and have a reduced budget.
TtSCC was canceled cause of low ratings. It slowly turned away its fan base and was a drama marketed as a sexy action show.
@...dogolopee: It may have something to do w/ the way TSCC put together. About halfway through the season I realized that I needed to tivo the episodes and watch 2 or 3 in a row. Otherwise I was having trouble remembering everything that had happened in the previous episodes. It did have complex story lines.
TSCC was canceled because Fox chose to put them in the kill slot on Friday, they thought it had the special thing that would allow it to work there. Its ratings on its original night (Tuesday?) were much, much better. They also thought this about Dollhouse, which started on Friday, and which is also now canceled.
Shouldn’t that read “Terminated: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”. Or did it get renewed?
@...Acriticalgent:
I still don’t think we’ve gotten official word, but there’s not a lot of hope.
I liked the show. I hope they do renew.

It was canceled. Fox renewed Dollhouse for 13 eps
@...dogolopee: Canceled because it sucks.
I’m sad it was canceled.
@...dogolopee: Really? I thought they would cancel Dollhouse.
So, I guess is must suck, then. Why else would Fox cancel it? They have a sterling reputation for only canceling shows that suck balls.
Heh, anyone remember that P.O.S “Firebug” or something?
Fucking terrible, that was.
It’s a shame, this show was just starting to come into its own.
@...LukeV1-5: And dont forget that horrible show, what was it called? “Family Man” or something they canceled…
If you don’t compare it with the original (two) movies, it’s an ok series.

And Firebug? Ah, what an awful show.
Dude on the radio, he say “I’m glad TSCC is on its way out, I mean, after 3 great movies, it was a bit of a let down”
I don’t think he’s seen any terminator movies.
Because there are only 2 real Terminators.
ok what do the terminator and tiki have in common?
in the original movie they stayed at the tiki hotel
