second: why is everyone so scared of this? yes it is a “new and novel flu” (CDC quote) but it has proven to be very treatable. yes hundreds have died from it but hundreds of thousands die from normal human flu strains every year. this is just like SARS a few years back. the deaths are tragic but as with SARS with people now aware it will die out just like the disease scares of before. barring a mutation that turns it into the “super flu” from a stephen king novel in which case we are all totally boned…
