I thought Solifugae had been phased out in favor of Solgupid. Oh, ah. I found a small one of these bastards in my room in college. They’re fairly harmless but freaky as all get out and faster than lightning. Interesting side note: they’re incredibly effective hunters and can actually stalk and catch flies.
I hated these damn things. Some can jump up to 6 feet. Their venom eats flesh. They lay eggs in their prey which proceed to eat you from the inside out. Yum a dum dum that’s some awesome stuff to have to clear out of your aircraft, tent, boots, gear, anyfucking place possible.

@...garbledxmission: Camel spiders don’t have venom (except for one Indian species), they tear flesh with their pincers, which can give you a nasty cut. They don’t lay eggs inside your flesh. Don’t know about the jumping, but thats probably baloney, too.
