Did a trip to the Japanese Antarctic base.

    I am jealous. I once met a guy who was a firefighter in Antarctica. Seriously. They had these huge ass trucks. A fire in a research station would be quite expensive. Ever since then I have always wanted to go.

    Yeah it was cold, but not to bad, getting use to the 24/7 sunlight was a bit odd but the place is amazing, just absolutely beautiful.
    The weather was pretty good, we did get a 5 day blizzard at the station but out on the ship aside from cloudy days it was good.
    I hope to go down again in the future and see some of Australia’s bases, I think we have the best blend of comfort without being to extravagant.
