And this is why I don’t buy full CDs anymore. Seriously, why shell out $15 for a CD that only has 3 or 4 songs I like on it when I can do something like iTunes and get those songs for $4? ( Or pirate ’em for free… )

Accurate. But there have been some CDs I buy (after extensive testing) that I find are actually pretty good most (or all) of the way through. But yes, for the most part, accurate.

@...natedog: Only one I agree with there is Nirvanna Unplugged. Alice in Chains Unplugged is good all the way through, too. And any Metallica before Load. ( While I didn’t -hate- Load/Reload, they were a huge step down. And St Anger just plain sucked. Death Magnetic is an improvement, though )
Most albums don’t start off with a hit single, and if you some of you guys listened to better bands you’d like a lot more albums all the way through.

Almost every album I own is great all the way through. This pic only applies to radio rock, rap, and country. Oh, that’s right, POP MUSIC.
Most of my 2,660 albums belong to the “good ones” category in the disclaimer. Finding quality albums really isn’t that hard. If you’re albums suck, you’re doing it wrong.
I’d make a list like natedog’s, but it’d be like making a list of all the different ways you could combine the words in the English language to make a novel.
Aka, fuckin’ tedious.

@...natedog: Marcy’s Playground was surprisingly good live. Saw them way back in ’99. Unplugged at Blood Sugar Sex Magic are gimmies. Everyone good knows that. Might as well throw Sublime on there.
