1/2 hour in, and i’m beginning to smell an april fool’s hoax
@natedog. what you think tiki annoyed us all for a couple of weeks with that permanent post about the theme day. yeah i guess that wouldnt surprise me. kinda unexpected, good job tiki.
So now that i see posts going up i retract my past comment. no disrespect tiki i like the theme day but where did you come up with those three magical letters? did you just happen to look in the fridge or did you throw darts at a wall in a preschool classroom to pick the letters?
@...numb7rs:
maybe I should put the code that you can use somewhere? meh
@...tiki god: Would you do that? Please. The comments are going to look a lot more exciting, I promise.
@...tiki god: Please, please, please.
Ah, shit. Forgot to submit mine.

Great theme day today, Tiki. I really do prefer these ones where people can be creative. And it’s much more interesting to scroll though than 100 pics of the same girl. 🙂
@...dieAntagonista: I do this only because I know your fascination for exciting looking comments!
Also…
fine, I’m late to the party, but I put in my submission for theme day. I honestly thought it would be one of the first things anyone came up with, as it was one of the top images when I did a GIS for RPB.
@...wookie_x: Really? Why thank you.
Though for the most part, I’m satisfied if you just use a lot of pretty curse words in English.
@...wookie_x: lol wut?

.
Also I clearly misunderstood Theme Day. I thought we had to make/create our own pics.
@...dieAntagonista: I’m of the opinion that most of the standard English curse words are too short to be pretty. They tend to be single syllable, explosive words. On the other hand I DO like entertaining compound words as curses, like penis-wrinkle, or twat-waffle. These, at least, demonstrate some kind of mental effort, some kind of creativity.
@...wookie_x: Good analysis, and in general I agree with you. But here’s the thing, I’m in love with the most simple English curse words for a very simple reason. It sounds good. The word “fuck” – Jesus Christ. Cursing in English is extremely satisfying. I never get to do that, and I don’t curse in German at all, because it sounds silly and not impressive. Obviously I can only type these words, but I say them out loud in my head for some abnormal reason. Alright well sometimes when I’m alone I do say things like motherfucker etc, but other than that I have to put up with Austrians saying banal sounding curse words.
It’s quite tragic.
Did I mention already that I love English? You people are so lucky.
@...dieAntagonista: I suppose we both suffer from language familiarity. We’re used to cussing in a particular language, so there is no novelty to it. I suspect, though, that if we were to ever actually meet, the curses would be flying fast and furious. Enough to make a sailor blush!
@...wookie_x: Haha, ah I doubt that. I grew up speaking not only German, but Romanian as well. Cursing in Romanian is sort of satisfying, but I’d rather not tell my relatives that they can fuck a cat. That’s a traditional expression in Romanian by the way.
Wait, so if you were to meet me, you’d insult me just so that I get to curse in English? Why that’s so lovely of you. Can’t wait.
Tiki- your server keeps showing me errors!
@...storminator: ditto.
@...dieAntagonista: If you get the chance, read Mother Tongue by Bill Bryson. It’s a light-hearted humorous read about the English language.
@...wookie_x:
@...dieAntagonista: Hmm. It takes a lot to make me blush. I look forward to your attempts. Get to it
@...nyokki: Hooray. Finally some book recommendations from you. I’ll see if I can get it.
