the drawings were decent and the storyline was good. i remember an episode about a ghost which granted people a twisted version of there wishes. one man wished he was so rich he would be “made of money” and he turned into dollar bills!lol
Y’know, when I see the remakes of things like He-man or Tmnt or definitely anything produced by Hanna Barbara, I usually say, “well, I loved the original, but the art was crap and the writing only made sense to a 6 year old, so I have no problem with them remaking it so another generation can enjoy it.”
That said, the Real Ghostbusters was the one cartoon that really did hold up to adult inspection (at least the early seasons). The art was well done and consistent. The storylines make sense and are compelling. The characters had consistent personalities and didn’t make serious idiot moves inconsistent with their characters to advance the plot. It was a really well done show that didn’t need a revamp.
THIS SHOW FKN ROCKED!
MOVIES >> SHOW
This show was an abomination. Raping of my childhood memories… Go watch “The Real Ghostbusters”, philistines.
@...Tyger42: This. Damn 90s, and fucking extreme marketing.
@...Gouki4u: Amen
Fuck this show. It SUCKED. I’m with Tyger, go watch The Real Ghostbusters, and stop bringing up the abominations of my childhood.
effing remakes…
No, I’m going to support this one. That show was so badass. I watched it every day, and loved every goddamn minute of it.
Too old, thank God!

I loved this show!
Token nerd, token black dude, token hispanic dude, token woman, token cripple….
Everyone was token!
Hurray!
@...pandapower: So, bad art, bad ripoff, and unoriginal stories. “Wishes gone bad” is one of the most unoriginal plot points ever…

@Tyger42: it was enough to impress me when i was 8
Damn, the woman looks like she was rode hard & put away wet.
This show wasn’t bad but I avoided it just for the “Extreme” gimmick, it was pointless and unnecessary.
Their best episodes were the 2-part of the original Ghostbusters meeting with the new guys.
@...Dreth: Your use of unnecessary in this sentence is redundant and surplus to requirements.
Oh yeah, well you’re as flat as a straight line.
You’re a bad man, Dreth McInternet.
@...Dreth: Wat? Straight lines are flat?
For one thing, the show had really cool ghosts.
@...Phyreblade: He understands.
@...Dreth: Hey it’s not my fault I’m slow… 😛
i love this thread! this much:
all of you guys fucking rock!
Crap remake.
