This is pretty common where I grew up. It doesn’t suprise me. Especially when I went home a few years ago and saw an old friend of mine at a restaurant. She was 26, her son was 13. I don’t know if it’s the culture but it seemed like a lot of woman down there had no problem with being a mother at the age of 14-16.
And people wonder why there is so much poverty and third world food shortages.
