@...yawn: I’ve had bad experiences w/ normally good bands. I went to a Jethro Tull concert in which they practically re-created Brigadoon. It was horrible and I did actually end up snoozing before hubby and I decided to leave.
@...thelotuseater725: Yeah, I guess I’m just not really a fan of their style. Also, I thought their performance really reflected their age (not in a good way). >_<
Just out of curiosity, when/where did you see ’em?

I saw them do a few songs to close out a radio station concert back in ’94 or so. It was funny because the concert was made up of mostly the R&B/Hip-hop/Top 40 types of the time (anyone remember Joe Public? >.> )
Anyway, despite the musical gap that seemed to exist between these guys and the stations core audience, everyone at the concert went crazy for them. They were the best act of the whole day.
Strange thing is, they look a lot younger in this pic then how I remember seeing them live back then.
I dunno… I ‘spose so… On second thought, maybe not Hip=cool. And Cool is sometimes the antithesis of sharp. So i guess it depends… did that clear it up any?
Are women going crazy for them?
I love the fact that the guy on the right plays the dad of the artist girl from Bones.
ZZ Top? I saw them live this past summer.
Was…pretty boring, to be honest. We actually left early. =/
@...yawn: Really? When i saw them they were awesome. Then again they have been an influence on my guitar playing somewhat.
@...thelotuseater725: Ditto. Love ZZ Top and their an awesome live band.
