Really not a big fan of powering down everytime I want to remove the Micro SD card, SD cards were meant for more than an extension of the hard drive… bastards
@...phaed: Ummm, this is a phone for the DoD (Generals and the like) and the highest levels of government for secure comm…it’s not like you would’ve been able to get one anyway.
Oh I get it now- It’s not just a secure PDA phone, it’s a goverment-ordained secure PDA phone. Maybe that’s why it’s worth $3350, after all the shitloads of money that went into research.
But now they’re saying they’ll simply upgrade Obama’s Blackberry with the super-duper encryption package that the SME-PED project developed. If they can do that for any device, what’s the point of bying that ugly thing wholesale?
@...Howie Feltersnatch: The only thing that I don’t get about it is, if it has a “SCIF Friendly” mode, that means it CAN be classified up to at LEAST Top Secret. How exactly do you keep Two Person Integrity on a phone? And yes ur right about mixing SIPR and NIPR, so easy to look at the SIPR side email and forget that it is in fact SIPR. I foresee a LOT of COMSEC incidents from this.
*Drooooool*
Activate the interlocks, connect the dynatherms. Infra-cells are up, mega-thrusters are go!
is this obama’s new phone or something?
A phone with an earpiece and a microphone? What is this madness?!
Set phasers for awesome.
I have had less ugly shits.
It’s horrible.
Ugly as hell.
I think I’ll waith for this one:

@...drdrewusaf: Good to know, now is it intelligent to have a data phone specifically for privileged service members? Seems kind of risky to me.
Where is the Fake vagina attachment?
There’s a Fleshlight on the back.
They really ought to shift the screen to the right just a tad…
and the wipe-ass-robot-hand attachment?
that is needed too
Devices like this that mix SIPRNET/NIPRNET scare the shit out of me. Bad OPSEC. Bad! Bad!
Versatile,yes.Dependable?

I read your comment as “I have had less ugly shirts. I thought to myself “lucky you, devastating taste in fashion.” 😉
