@...gx5000: They probably switch those out with tires (unless they’re in a perpetually Wintery place) so I don’t think it really matters when it comes to being able to drive almost without ever slipping.
@...nyokki: Not permanent. The website claims they can be switched out almost as easily as tires in 30 minutes. Which makes them totally even more fuckin cool.
Do they come in shoes?
DO Want..
But what kind of Speeds and Gas mileage are we talking about though ?

It seems to me that steering would be a problem.
I could use one of those right now.
Yeah, but can it crush cars?
this is cool on so many levels
If it’s real, it’s probably permanent and only used in snow/ice. I doubt it’s their every day vehicle.
Also: DO WANT!
They’re real, www.mattracks.com/

@...hvymetal86: Nice!
These are actually really common in the Off Road enthusiast world. My friends dad had a set for his ridiculously huge truck.
The ATV shown on the site was epic.
They are, unfortunately, about 24,000 for a set.
I could buy 75 of my car for the cost of one set of tank treads.
