    gx5000: They probably switch those out with tires (unless they’re in a perpetually Wintery place) so I don’t think it really matters when it comes to being able to drive almost without ever slipping.

    If it’s real, it’s probably permanent and only used in snow/ice. I doubt it’s their every day vehicle.

    nyokki: Not permanent. The website claims they can be switched out almost as easily as tires in 30 minutes. Which makes them totally even more fuckin cool.

    These are actually really common in the Off Road enthusiast world. My friends dad had a set for his ridiculously huge truck.
