That’s a photo enforcement camera (speed and/or red light probably), not a “security cam”, which would imply that these are being used for safety instead of propping up municipal budgets.
They’re sprouting up like dandelions here in Arizona (and probably everywhere else in the US). Phoenix has them every mile or so on their freeways now. It’s only a matter of time before the backlash really hits.

The red light cameras are showing up here on all the major cross streets.
