I regret that I didn’t have time for a trip up into the Alps when I was in Geneva for a week in 2005. Though I did take a cable car up the Salève one day.

Surely that should be a photograph of a box of muesli then?
@...nyokki: While that’s mostly true and I do love my Rockies, that particular view is unlike anything I’ve seen from any Colorado resort. That mountain is freakin’ huge.

@...7footJesus: Of course it is huge, it’s a mountain. Has to be big, huge, enormous, vast, or it would be just a molehill….
searching high and low, but do not see any nazi zombies in this pic…..

The Alps are awesome in every meaning of the word. I got stuck in a mile high traffic jam in the Pyrenées once. We were coming back to France from Andorra and it was taking forever to get through customs.
so this ‘alps’ place, it’s cold there?
@...tiki god: Cold? Maybe. I was in the outdoor spa most of the time, so I was nice and toasty.
@...nyokki: Meh. Look like most of Colorado. 🙂
Is that snow?
@...NoOneInParticular: I’ve never been to Colorado.
@...nyokki: Well, see the picture above? It’s just like that. 😀
@...NoOneInParticular: Noted.
