@...Phyreblade: Growing up (in NYC) we used to go out on the front stoop (along w/ the whole block)and bang pots together. It could get very loud. I did go to Times Square a few times, that was fun. When I was much younger, they used to throw a block party on NYE. They have food, music, a lot of alcohol and general partying.
