Just download the first series of this last week. It’s pretty good, though the storyline seems to be:
*Vampires
*People humping
*People humping vampires
*Vampires humping people
@...mAgnUS BUTTfoorson: Oh c’mon. Have you seen some of the fail that is on American network television? Anything with a script automatically beats 90% of it.
For anyone that is interested, the “vampire bar” fangtasia that is on the show is one of my local bars here in long beach, Ca. The bars real name is alex’s bar.
@Queensly: Yeah, thats pretty much dead on. But, really, thats the plot of every HBO series.
Sopranos:
middle-aged Italian mobsters humping
titty bars
Big love:
polygamists humping
etc.
At the risk of agreeing with Magnus, yes, this show is awful. I only watched it to *finally* get to see Rogue naked.
Her tits actually wound up to be a disappointment. Hint: she’s been wearing push-up bras this entire time.

I just watched the entire series yesterday because I’ve been snowed in. I enjoyed it only because I had read the books when they first came out in (in the YA section FTW).
It’s campy and predictable, but it’s fun. I like the whole inbred Southern atmosphere. The whole thing is a train wreck.
Blech, I watched the first episode and was left wanting my hour back. Predictable and unimaginative are the words I use to describe it. I know the vampire genre has been mined to death (pardon the pun) but there was not a single original concept in the show, not even a good twist on an old concept.

I’ve been meaning to read the books for quite awhile.
The TV series is amusing.
WORST SHOW ON TV

No worse than Edge of Night.

I watch this show because everything about it is hilariously terrible. The writing, the acting- everything is pure awful.

@MikeBabaguh
Yes, she has the tiniest tits I’ve ever seen on a working actress. The push up bras were so evident.

But damn Anna Paquin looks hot in it.
Books are better. They have a vampire Elvis.
@... Skipper: Snowed in? where are you? are you lauren?
Cool show. Lot’s of Vampire sex and shapeshifting with some southern comfort thrown in.
I watch it while I’m here on mcs or reading. It had a few good episodes. I’ll check out the 2nd season.
Every episode seems to end with someone dieing or in a rough spot.
@...Puulaahi: Whaddaya expect? It’s HBO.
@...nyokki: I love HBO, I expect it.
