    I need to visit this wonderful place as soon as possible. And this might be a silly question, but what’s that building behind the White House? It looks important.

    It’s the Treasury Building. I believe it was built during the FDR administration. The story is that he was feuding with Congress and had it built there so he wouldn’t have to look at the Capitol.
