I had the book as a child and boy did it give me nightmares.German children’s stories used to be pretty hardcore.

So I clicked the link…and I’ve come to the harsh realization that after taking FOUR YEARS of German, I only remember how to ask if I can sharpen my pencil.

@...Ren: I know your pain. After four years of German in high school, and none in college, when I finally went to Europe to be with my German girlfriend, I realized I forgot damn near everything. Luckily after the second time it really does start to take.

If it makes you feel any better, German grammar has been described as one of the most difficult ones of all languages. Personally, I have great respect for anybody who tries to learn German. I can only imagine how it hard it must be.
