    I know how it ends. It turns out they’re on Captain Nemo’s “Mysterious Island”. No wait, that’s the book this show is a total ripoff of. Fortunately for the strike happy writers, people don’t read Victorian books much anymore. If you don’t want to get spoiled, don’t read that book.

    I don’t know. I think most “what’s going on beihind the mystery?” shows (such as: Millenium, Nowhere Man, the Prisoner, Alias, The X-Files, The Fugitive, etc.) are started without knowing where things will end up. Not least of which because when the series is proposed, no one knows how long the show will last. Of course that’s true of any tv show nowadays.

    I’m not sure where I’m going with this, except that I think that you are blaming the show for the flaws of the medium it lives in, not some innate quality of the show.

    No, I blame the show because it is a piss poorly written, vaguely acted, completely lacking in plot show that relies on a very shitty old method of keeping the rubes watching. For every question you answer, raise 10 more questions. They’ll keep lapping it up and ask for more please and thank you. J.J. Abrams can suck a rancid goat cock.
