Gee, I don’t know. I guess if people didn’t question authority then:
-priests would still be cornholing young boys and getting away with it
-the earth would still be the center of the universe, according to those same priests
-slavery would still be kosher
-segregation would be the norm
-we would be a British colony
-First Amendment, who needs it?
“Question Authority” is a logical loop. If the poster in the picture is an “authority” (after all, it’s telling you to do something and you’re listening), you end up having to question the poster…
The joke works better when it’s “Question Everything”.
God, when you have to explain humor to people, it ceases to be funny…
I like this because it seems to suggest questioning the self-appointed “authority” in the media, classrooms and lecture halls, and perhaps even those assembling mobs. Not just the traditional targets of the maturation-deprived.
Funny, this is exactly what I’ve said before

It’s Un-American to NOT question authority. Just don’t tell that to Fox News whores.
Meh. It takes a little more than just questioning authorities.
Don’t just question authority, question everything!
lol, tormato completely missed it.
Tormado, you don’t get it, do you?

tormato, segregation is still the norm. It’s just not so obvious anymore.
Kid’s doing it right!
