That’s how I roll. Me in back rockin’ a monocle and my chauffeur freezing his tits off up front.
Holy crap. Could that have an inline-8 under the hood? Any idea what model/year this is exactly?
Sexy….
that most likely it running a v12
That would be your Bugatti Royale Coupé Napoleon.
the engine is a 12.7l straight 8.
Only 6 were produced and they still exist.
One of those sold in 1991 for US$ 8,000,000.
WTF is the point of a 12.7L engine in a car that size? That’s like using the Death Star to kill a gnat.
@deuce – Because you can
Over 1.5l of displacement per piston, hot
Engine technology in 1931 was not what it is now.
But I think this had more to do with “Mine is bigger than yours” attitude.
In line 8’s were really common and they figured the larger the engine/pistons the more horsepower. The only problem is that the horsepower not only have to fight the weight of the chassis but also the engine block itself.
that was directed at Deuce btw
The license plates read “PEN-15”
I figured as much… its MPG is probably measured in fractions.
