And, yes, atheists find reasons to pass off accountability. But at least their reason isn’t a scary invisible man in the clouds. It seems religious types are MORE prone than most to scapegoating, but I acknowledge that it certainly isn’t exclusive to them by a long shot.

As an atheist and former devout Catholic (gotta brainwash them while they’re young!) I really like the third panel. The idea that you have to fear repercussions from something external to not do something bad says a lot about a person. Especially the idea that even the law isn’t enough.
Still, even atheists will find excuses to go to war or to not lose weight. Probably less often by a small margin, but still…

There are enough logical and good reasons why atheists are better in certain aspects than theists. Only this one is mostly used by idiotic atheists, sorry.

Such dishonesty, it’s disgusting.
To me, it doesn’t matter if you’re christian, muslim, or atheist, you’re like a referee that only counts the goals of one team. In my experience, if you truly keep yourself open to all possibilities, you find that none of them make complete sense. They all sorta just cancel each other out. So I just believe in whatever I can’t disprove. And I try hard to disprove everything.

this really could have been a great “random item in a misplaced setting, I approve” thread, but people who think their silly opinions on silly stuff that has no bearing on reality ruined it. Good show on the approval chain however- I. . .appreciated it?
All the panels have the atheist saying the wrong thing. For example, in the third panel he’s REALLY saying: “See, this land has resources that would make my life better, and since this is the only life there is, we’d better exterminate the inhabitants so that my life is slightly better.”
Just because you don’t believe in god doesn’t automatically make you a better person.
