We pulled a 32 degree roll on CV 64 the Constellation. Not much puking going on, just a LOT of ducking and dodging crap that was not properly tied down. Lot of man down calls after that too. Never did find out why we rolled that hard. Also took a bad wave on LCC 20 Mount Whitney in the North Atlantic. That one threw everyone at chow into the bulkhead, and cracked a sponson. First thing done back at port, threw away the cafeteria style mess tables and welded those McDonalds style tables to the mess deck.
I wonder how many degrees a vessel like that can list can stay right side up.
which side has all the sailors puking over the edge?
