Most of us foreigners don’t really form much of an opinion on Americans because we see so much of you. I live in Ireland and most of our stations show about 80% American or English shows. We get America’s got talent, American Idol, survivor and pretty much every other reality TV show from America every year yet barely anything home-grown. Granted nearly all the shows depict Americans as living in California or New York but we still look at Americans like it was just next door.

Wow, I used to be a New Yorker, but I’ve apparently become a sister-fucker…wait my sis is still in NY…I’m confused (prolly because I left NY).
Maybe they knew a bit about history and think of Alaskans as their territory belonging to the russians (before it got illegally sold to USA) and just think of alaska as former commies
California might just be Hippy land its just the crossover of it having the most open use of drugs in the USA, but with a police force with what i heard had a pretty short tolerance of them
