I’d tend to agree with Exacerbate, based simply on the fact that the only homocide on the chart is from “Firearms Assault”. Does that mean that your odds of being beaten, stabbed, poisoned, strangled, run over, or any other of a litany of other ways to be killed, combined or individually, are less than the odds of dying in a fireworks accident? That seems a bit odd to me.
That would also mean that aside from being shot, you have a better chance of being killed by your governement than by one of it’s citizens. And if that’s true, well that’s just fucked up.
I’ve always wondered what the comparison number is for this sort of thing.
1 in n . . . Where does n come from? Number of people alive? Number of people who lived during a certain time frame? A random number of people picked from a hat? What?
Repost but a good one.
I don’t think this is too accurate though.
Odds of dying from reading the “odds of dying chart”?
MrDooves, they are the same odds as dying from a marijuana overdose
Come on Natedog. Jury is still out on that one.
Never Give Up!

In before smoking
Just because it’s not on the chart AgZed doesn’t mean it’s less likely than a fireworks accident.
Odds of repost?
3 in 1.
smoking = heart disease + cancer
Being from Ireland, I could swear dying from the odds of alcohol poisoning is alot higher

Space accident?
It’s not that life is so short, you just stay dead a long time.
@Caio: No one actually dies of smoking. They die of the illness smoking causes. Lung cancer, etc. Just a technicality, I know.
