Being an Eastern-european, and living through thy communist opression, and living next to a country with a bloody civil war, I can say some things about terror.
Saying someone is a terrorist is the “communist label” in the 21th century. People use it before thinking through what is it mean. What is terror? Terror is causing fear and disortion in a big group. So basicly terror is the main weapon of ewery army known to men from the beggining of time. We call these people terrorist, because they’re not a real army, but they cause fear and panic, mainly with the attacks on civils.
Some say killing civils is unforgiveable, some say it’s a really strong weapon against stronger armies. I personally say that it should never be used, especially against the USA, only because it makes them angrier and fight. It’s their basic mentality, as our’s Europeans, whom actually suffered from quite a lot from wars, we saw what bombings and killings can cause to our countries and people, we always try to awoid it. And for the Talibans and the terrorists, they live in constant brain washing and lies, they can’t simply understand what is wrong and what is right. The Koran says that what they do is the right thing, and through history, lot’s of people did horrible things if their spiritual leaders and books said so.
I’m not saying ehat the talibs do is right, heavens no. I simply say, that they are a bunch of misguided people, who never could understand the western ideologists about taking a life. So you say “Bomb them all, they just a bunch of sandniggers”, you basicly use their mentality. It’s always the best thing to try understand your enemies.

The “terrorists” I can respect, they’re freedom fighters trying to repel foreign invaders, nothing wrong with that, it’s pretty damn admirable.
But not Osama.
He sits in his cave and yells orders, sending others to senseless deaths that take more of his own people than the enemy. He’s achieved such legendary status, in part thanks to the US, that his soldiers follow him blindly, deeming his every action as righteous. But when was the last time he actually hijacked a plane, or planted a car bomb? Has he ever fought the Americans directly, an AK in his hands and gunfire in his ears? Oh, occasionally he’ll make a TV appearance, spouting the same tired Jihad shit, but it’s all been heard before. And, seeing as the fighters operate in flying columns, Osama could be killed in the face and there’d be little difference made. Sure, there’d be a slight morale decrease, but ultimately the fight would go on.

Childofkotli if what you say about your relatives is true; I am truly sorry. It is always regrettable when civilians are caught in the crossfire but that is one of the tactics the enemy likes to use. There is not one US soldier who would like nothing more than to not have civilians around when the enemy shows up but as you well know they prefer to use human shields.
Personally I cant tell you how many times I have put myself between civilians and the enemy or used my body as a shield to protect an Iraqi but it was never something I hesitated in doing.
In regards to high tech weapons the highest tech weapon I have ever used is my M4 which to be effective is used up close at distances less than 20 yards and most of my firefights have been at distances of 5 to 10 yards with many ending up as hand to hand. So dont preach to me about being at a nice safe distance.
Im am sorry to hear you are a diabetic but I do know for a fact that all medics carry insulin because there are a large number of diabetics in Iraq. Maybe you should seek out some medical aid.
