as the only out queer on MCS*, i would like to disagree and inform.

the acceptable term for a homosexual male is, indeed, gay. however, homosexual women are more often referred to as a lesbian. there’s no such thing as ‘a gay’ but there’s also no such thing as being ‘lesbian’. please use proper grammar.

the correct term for tho group as a whole is ‘queer’; i am queer, someone who sleeps with boys and girls is queer, boys who sleep with boys are queers, etc.

queer covers the entire spectrum; male on male, female on female, transgendered or transsexual on whatever, etc.

someone who is bisexual is also queer; they have no ultimate preference and instead choose not to limit their choices in life. bisexuals get a lot of shit from other queers and that’s sad.

the reason the rainbow works for us is because there’s more to it than male on male or female on female. for instance, i’m queer; i sleep with girls 99% of the time, they are my preference — however, i also sleep with boys; bio males included, as well as tranny boys, both male and female.

i have a serious thing for tranny boys (those who were born female but transitioned to male) so if i were to say i’m a lesbian, that would exclude tranny boys because lesbians only sleep with other women.

do you see? it’s all very complicated.

i hope i didn’t sound like a bitch for this. i was really aiming for a narrator in a nature documentary.

* s’far as i know, i’m the only out gaymo on MCS.
