Mark Millar’s one of those writers who doesn’t care about anything making sense, or being worth a damn, but stories like Civil War will be popular so long as they’ve got great art (like McNiven’s) or scatterings of cool moments throughout. I just can’t get past how many times the geniuses of the Marvel Universeâ€â€Reed Richards, Tony Stark, et al.â€â€say they can see only “one solution” to the initial crisis of a teenaged supergroup blowing up a playground: to make superheroes government sanctioned. Really? REAAAALLLY? You can’t see any other possibilities, you, Mr. Fantastic, who can create time machines and travel to parallel universes? REAAAAALLLLLLY?
I’m not saying it wasn’t a fun read, as long as you don’t think about it for two seconds.
i want this whole series
final battle was awesome
