Snapped this while driving (!) and I wish I could have gotten a better shot, this thing looked incredible! Anyone know what it is? My guess is either power generation or it’s the spindle of an aircraft engine.
I think that it is an aircraft engine turbine. Notice how it tapers in the middle. That is where the fuel mixes with high pressure air and combustion occurs which propels the first blades and the compressor. The large blade up front pushes air around the combustion core. It is called a turbojet engine I think that steam turbines meant for power generation are far larger. More info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_engine
I don’t know what it is, I can’t see it through your FILTHY WINDOWS.
It’s most certainly is a turbine for power generation. The big blading is for low pressure, and the smaller for high pressure steam.

It is a warlock!
It’s a TRAP!
should have known it was fully operational!!!
IT’S A BOMB
Those are the fans of a turbo-fan engine.
