As Alec said, the average European country is about the size of a western U.S. state… the entirety of Europe is smaller than your average Canadian province. Europe taxes the hell out of gasoline, too, so blame your local government for that.

Yes, but in Europe you don’t have as far to drive. Here in Canada I have to drive across 3 time zones just to get milk.
