MCS request feature: a “OM NOM NOM NOM” button. That way instead of typing it out, someone could just press the button.
Uncreative, unoriginal tasks should be automated; that’s what computers are for.
Speaking of old things, whatever happened to that idea for a forum that everyone was talking about a few months ago? I serious thought there was going to be an MCS forum for some reason.
I told tiki to make a forum like a week ago and he was like “Pfft whatever” and then i called him a drunk. because he is. If people really want a forum and are interested then i will set one up.
I would be. I’ve noticed that I’ve been trolling and ruining a lot of good threads and going off-topic and I feel guilty. I feel that this is because I’m used to forums where I can organize and confine myself well, whereas the fast-moving blog-like format lends itself to my spammy chaotic nature.
1) When things get off-topic (as they often do), OT posts get split, and can be moved to an appropriate subforum, like a politics forum or a flame forum or a spam forum. These lesser forum serve as living garbage dumps, where things few care about get thrown to the trolls.
2) Longer threads (of which there are many here) are easily broken into more readable units. Also, signatures help to act as visual cues between posts.
3) It adds more flexibility to the general discourse, and likewise keeps the comments more on track.
4) Builds community. I recognize a lot of regular posters, but I can’t really make them out clearly as I do on forums. Just a lot of names without personality.
(two people get into a long conversation about the libertarian party on a front-page post about a pretty girl)
Person: Take it to the politics subforum, shithead. I want to talk about her boobs: She has nice boobs.
(Libertarian fighers take it to a tl;dr libertarian thread away from the general public, MCS is saved!!!!)
Also, there’d be edit so I wouldn’t have to constantly double post.
Maybe if MCS had some forum-like features, like nested comments and user ratings, that would be cool. But the site seems to go down like Paris Hilton soon after any bling is added.
Side-note: “The Hot Spot” finally reached the top of my Netflix queue from when I added it to due to this post. And for the first time ever, I got a disc that won’t play. motherfucker
I think I agree with Caio. For example this very thread that promised an insightful and eloquent group discussion of Jennifer Connelly’s boobs has been hijacked by an OT topic that could be taken off this thread. Please think of the boobs
What can you say about Jennifer Connelly’s boobs that hasn’t already been said? There are special literary categories of poem and prose about her boobs.
My only complaint about her boobs is that they tend to star in creepy/depressing movies that don’t work well for repeat viewings.
It’s my pleasure to say; OM NOM NOM NOM
that tiger-print looks suspiciously like cheetah-print.
..or leopard print.

that shirt fits her very well.

Isn’t this already pretty much a forum? What would making another forum add? I’m not for or against it, I’m just wondering what would better.

@... reboot:
Jennifer Connelly’s boobs add shining moments to any creepy movie. I like creepy. I could stand to see more.
i love her boobs.
they are awesome.
Random stab in the dark here that anyone would possibly frequent: but a great forum out there is the EGM NGR forum. For gamers, but not about games.
Yup… another OTP…
is it me or are her boobs bigger? not complaining, btw
Forums? pshhhh
Well, that’s it. I’m off to start my own Jennifer Connelly boob forum. See in in boobless hell, fuckers.
There should be an obligatory “RAAAAAAAWR” in here some where. Just thought I’d point that out…
i’d like to eat her liver with a nice chianti and some fava beans
^ take the liver.
I myself would like a breast and a thigh.
@Caio
I wouldn’t exactly call MCS a “Bewbieless Hell”…
