That’s an extreme case of schizophrenia that made him famous.
I once heard Henson referred to as “A hippie with a dream”….well, so what? He made his dream a reality and brought pure joy to a generation of children. Bringing happiness to others with little more than a green sock and a ping pong ball isn’t a bad way to make a living. Thank you, Mr. Henson. You are still missed.
He was creative as all hell and his humor worked on so many levels that there was always something for everyone to relate to.
Way too much of the subtle humor and intelligence that made the Muppets great was lost with him.

I agree, although he wouldn’t hesitate to mix in the most awful puns and running gags among smarter, more subtle humor. But what I really miss is his voice, the Muppets, especially Kermit, just don’t sound the same without him.
