    Why do we need a sign? It’s not an affiliation, just a viewpoint. Do consciousness objectors in war need a symbol? (I’m going to go ahead and assume the government says ‘yes’ at this point).

    The atheist symbol is used to decorate dead soldier’s graves in military cemeteries.

    If someone doesn’t specify they get a cross.
