Ok, I realize this is supposed to be a joke (and I don’t get it either), but I’l geek out and mention that the weight of a hard drive is not changed by file activity (it just flips the polarity of magnetic dipoles). It does lose weight if you cut it with a band saw.
“The title of the movie comes from the work of Dr. Duncan MacDougall, who in the early 1900s sought to measure the weight purportedly lost by a human body when the soul departed the body upon death. MacDougall weighed dying patients in an attempt to prove that the soul was material, tangible and thus measurable. These experiments are widely considered to have had little if any scientific merit, and although MacDougall’s results varied considerably from 21 grams, for some people this figure has become synonymous with the measure of a soul’s mass.”
it might be the mild fever i have right now, but iunno.. either way, i dun get it. someone wanna fill me in?

That’s the amount you lose in weight when you die.

Obscure joke is obscure.
Reformatting is murder!
Oh wow, did I fail or what?
I lol’d.
Computers have souls? this changes everything…
By proving that a simple mechanical device moving bits of electrons from one place to another is just as sacred as the Human Soul.
(I realize it’s a joke)
