Soooo many I can’t recognize. What is that purple demon thing in the top right? And the two animal guys yelling at each other just above Beast’s shoulders?
Purple demon thing is Lockheed, a pet dragon of Shadowcat’s. The animal on the left is Wolfsbane, and one on the right is Feral. Feral is basically a Rob Liefeld rip-off of Wolfsbane.
Got a poster of this with my special edition X-Men #1 (second ongoing title) when I was 8. Too bad I didn’t keep any of my comics when I went to college. 🙁
This was back when the costumes were good and not the lame-ass imitations of the ones for the movies. Seriously, Wolverine used to look bad-ass, now I see his yellow mask with two little cat ears sticking out, I wouldn’t take him seriously even if he did “Tornado Crawl” on me.
If I remember correctly, this poster was on the inside of the 4-fold special edition, of which I still have 5 or 6 copies. I bought a bunch at the flea market about 10 years ago for 25 cents each, figured they’d be good poster material.
The most badass the yellow mask has ever looked is when it emerged from the basement of the Hellfire Club, leaving the bodies of all the redshirts behind.
That was when Wolverine first started becoming cool.

I beg to differ. Wolverine was cool even before he was born… 😛
Excalibur, X-Factor, X-Force and X-Men when Jim Lee ruled the X-verse.
