I just got a refurbished laptop a couple days ago and I was playing with it when I used this as my desktop. My dad walked by while I was napping with the laptop on the table and woke me up in a panic because he saw the BSOD and wanted to make sure the new lappy was acting properly. He failed to notice the icons were still there.
For a brief period in the 90’s, I had a screen saver on my workstation at the office that made it look like a BSOD. Had to take it down when too many people decided to be “helpful” and cycle the power.
So I changed it to look like the start up screen of a C64, complete with blinking cursor. That was actually more fun.
Thanks, I haven’t seen one of those in ages. I’m glad I stayed with XP.
The .jpg artifacts! My eyes! Also, animated BSODs win.
In vista, now it Red Screen of Death.
