I read somewhere that they’re trying to make a GI Joe movie (since Transformers did so well), but they’re having trouble writing a script with the current “Iraq” situation.
There are two schools of thought: make a “super-patriot” version with military GI Joe vs. Cobra, or make “adventure team” version with no Cobra.
Of course, they obviously are missing the point that without Cobra Commander, any GI Joe movie would suxxor.
Serpentor owned Cobra Commander. He was badass. It’d be awesome if they made the movie nearly as awesome as the cartoon was. Dealing with issues such as genetic splicing/altering genes waaaaay before it became a popular topic in everything over a decade later. Here’s hoping the movie doesn’t suck, such as showing people dying like they should have *looks at Duke* and real bullets, as well as all the kung-fu hand-to-hand combat. And one of their awesome “and knowing is half the battles” thing at the end.
