Basically. “SHIT They’re getting bored and quitting. Let them level 10 more times!!”
I don’t even know why I am going to buy that. :O
It’s sad to me that people will pay so much money just to get some extra levels or character options in a game that ruins their lives…
WoW is just plain sad in my opinion. It’s supposed to be fun and about interaction, you can interact in all sorts of free online (way better) games and you don’t need to enslave yourself to leveling up at least for 2 days in order to have “fun”. Oh and pay for it. Only good thing to come out of WoW was Leeroy Jenkins.
I used to play WOW… then my Dad got a job!
Wait, I don’t think I did that correctly.
Meh, I gonna play Warhammer Online. Chaos FTW!!!
Ugh. One of my friends became a fucking slave to this game. She talks fucking CONSTANTLY about it.
Whenever she talks about it, I just nod politely and daydream about rigging Blizzard HQ with C4 charges.
“Basically. “SHIT They’re getting bored and quitting. Let them level 10 more times!!—
Um… and yet they’ve still managed to pull in an extra 1,000,000 players since the last count.
9 million players. I’m one of them. I have a job, a life, a wife, kids, and to be honest – I’m enjoying every minute of it.
Just ‘cos you don’t play, or don’t get it, doesn’t mean 9 million people aren’t having fun 🙂
Oh yeah…
FOR THE HORDE!
You can have a life and still be a video game addict.
However, one has to assume that the life that person has is marvelously dull in order to find pleasure in role-playing that you’re some Elf and you stand for their code and make “alliances” and take 15 minutes before each battle calculating all the stats along with a bunch of little kids that want you to powerlevel them…
And you pay for it!
Dreth, your mom doesn’t let you play WoW does she. Is that the issue here? Fox and the Grapes, perhaps?
“However, one has to assume that the life that person has is marvelously dull in order to find pleasure in role-playing that you’re some Elf…”
Personally, I’ve never seen WoW as a “Roleplaying” game. For me, its just a game, with a very positive social aspect.
I don’t pretend to be an elf in the same way I don’t pretend I’m Master Sergent when playing Halo.
I got bored. Mebbe I’ll pick it back up with the expansion next year, but I’m REALLY looking forward to WAR. I hope it beats the pants off WoW.
It probably won’t but I can hope.
personally, for a game to charge you money to play it monthly…
it would have to be a fucking awesome as hell game for me to play it. World of Warcraft doesn’t fit that description by far.
