    The spaghetti westerns were actually filmed in Spain. Eastwood did them in the off-season of his TV show “Rawhide”.

    There’s a rumor that Sergio Leone almost had Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Eli Wallach play the parts of the 3 bandits at the beginning of “Once Upon A Time In The West”.
