I’ve seen a ton of post-apocalyptic stories in so many different variations, and not many of them are able to make me feel good about the story by the end of it, feeling hopeful and open to the idea that humanity will do better than it did before. Mind you, there’s huge swaths of humanity that have died horribly painful and unfortunate deaths, but this one guy was able to find another decent person in the world and they had a bunch of babies.

I’m being cynical here, and I do believe it’s worth your time if you’re a post-apocalyptic story fan.
