“Hysteria!” Review
Tags:Television, Television Posters, Television Reviews
This is the kind of ambiguous horror that I both love and hate, because there’s all sorts of questions about what’s real, what’s really real, and if any of that matters when you’re face to face with the true horrors of an entire town aligning against you and everyone you hold dear.

“This Is the Tom Green Documentary” Review
Tags:Movie Posters, Movie Reviews, Movies
Tom Green was ever present while I was in high school, but I never found myself enjoying his efforts, they seemed too intentionally random and felt inauthentic. There’s an entire genre of comedy based around that type of humor that I just don’t go for, but enough people do that it has commercial staying power. This documentary, written and directed by the focus of the movie, is an intimate look at the entirety of his career thus far, and while it’s a great look, it’s from a personal perspective that doesn’t talk about the extremely disruptive and anti-social aspects of that career, and there’s limited introspection of why he was doing what he was doing at the time.
Not much has changed in this act in the years since we last saw him, and this documentary was the start of a promotional wave for a stand up special and a new series on Amazon Prime.
