if you look at the front, it has a large statue of Joseph Smith… he has his back to the church, and his hand is reaching out towards the bank across the street.
Eh, I do find them to be one of the less unpleasant Christian sects personally. Sure, they’ve got some silly beliefs, but there are a lot of silly beliefs in even the “generic” Christian teachings. All of the Mormons I’ve know have been fairly good people in general, though I can’t deny there are those that are too far right-wing. But, again, every sect has its extremists.
Mormons are fine, just like any other group of god buggerers, but the church leadership wants to control your life, especially in the bedroom. Blacks were subhuman and soulless until the 70s, they deny that polygamy ever occurred, etc etc.
Sell the mormon church and feed the poor, same with the catholics.
Or Y’know convert it into a hospital or school. Quite frankly i am against the church using their money to build mega churches. Only when the congregation needs more room due to growth or an increase in public services should they expand their facilities. I.E. they are running a goodwill type of deal, like some churches in my town do. Plus i think some sort of property tax should be imposed.
All that money sure buys alot of nice big buildings.
If you think that’s something, you should check out the Catholics’ place in Italy.
I lol’d
Magic underwear, ACTIVATE!
HAHA, I USED TO LIVE LIKE 100 meters from there~ God I HATE UTAH!!!

Is this the one that has the seer stone they still keep?
Maybe their Prophet, Seer, and Revelator (aka “President” to the rest of us) should use it to look for those long-lost golden plates…
Mormonism: kind of like Scientology, but without all the overwhelming dickishness.
Great picture though.
burn it to the ground, grind the remains to dust, irradiate the ground so nothing ever grows then build a sewage treatment plant.
